Research description:
Nikodemus 'Niko' Solitander works as the Sinituote Postdoctoral Researcher in Supply Chain Management and Social Responsibility at Hanken School of Economics in Helsinki, Finland. He holds a Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management and Corporate Geography.
 
His main expertise is in the areas of corporate responsibility, business and human rights, transnational advocacy networks, and responsible management education. He has a keen interest in pedagogical development and techniques. In 2011 he was elected Lecturer of the Year by the student union at Hanken,and in 2013 he was awarded the Hanken award for Excellence in Development of Teaching (together with Martin Fougère).
 
Teaching on masters, undergraduate, MBA and executive level.
 
Currently he acts as coordinator for Hanken's study module in Corporate Responsibilityand has been heavily involved in the implementation of the Principles of Responsible Management Education at Hanken; he was part of establishing the CR3+ conference; and is one of the founders of the Research Group on Corporate Responsibility, Ethics & Management Education (CREME) at Hanken. 

He has also  been working as program leader for various Hanken & SSE Executive Education programs and sits in the MBA Programme Committee. In 2013 he was a visiting scholar at the Graduate School of Management at Clark University, MA, USA.
