My research interests include especially industrial organization, competition economics and empirical microeconomics. I'm currently working on research projects related to the grocery sector and platform markets.
I have a background as an economist at the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority, working on mergers and abuse of dominance cases. Since 2018 I've had a chance to be involved in many interesting cases, the largest ones being one related to the healtcare industry (Mehiläinen & Pihlajalinna) and another to the wholesale sector (Kesko & Heinon Tukku). I've also worked as a research assistant for VATT Institute for Economic Research on a project related to the housing market and as an analyst at Cushman and Wakefield in the Capital Markets team. I have a M.sc from Hanken School of Economics.
