MELOGIC : An Integrated Methodological Framework for Emergency Logistics

The project MELOGIC has the aim to provide an integrated and easily applicable methodological framework for logistics preparedness operations.

 

Date: 2015-2016 (24 months)

Aim of the project: To provide an integrated and easily applicable methodological framework for logistics preparedness operations. More precisely, it looks at civil protection mechanisms in the EU and its typical problems related to supply chain management. The number and location of distribution centres in emergencies, resource planning and allocation, and the determination of inventory levels for pre-positioning and preparedness are examples of these problems.
