I am a project manager for a tourism development project at Hanken's marketing department.
We have just started a 1-year project "Österbottens turismvägkarta" to develop a tourism road map 2030 for the province of Ostrobothnia. The project aims to promote dialogue between tourism operators in the province and therefore we are trying to create an arena for discussion on the topic of provincial tourism development.
In this project, my research concerns the field of tourism in Ostrobothnia. In preparing the road map, it is of the utmost importance to get the actors of the province to participate in providing information and participating in workshops. My task is then to gather, analyze and report information in the creation of the road map.
