Stefan Sundgren

Stefan Sundgren is a part-time professor of accounting. Sundgren’s research focuses on auditing, financial reporting, and the role of regulation in shaping high‑quality financial information. He also does research about bankruptcy and fraud. Much of his work combines empirical methods with a strong interest in policy relevance, and he collaborates frequently with colleagues in the Nordic countries and internationally. Sundgren has published, for example, in Contemporary Accounting Research, European Accounting Review, Accounting and Business Research and International Review of Law and Economics.

He teaches financial accounting and supervises theses at the master’s level.
