I am a lecturer in English at Hanken Swedish School of Economics, teaching courses, such as academic writing, intercultural and business communication. I come with a background in visual arts from Anne Arundel Community College, MD, USA and have a PhD in the final phase, hoping to defend my thesis in spring 2024 at the University of Jyväskylä. I write my dissertation on contemporary “Little Red Riding Hood” stories, genius-ness, and feminine psychosexuality. I have so far published three articles, of which the latest is “Grandmas Do Worse:” The Kristevan Feminine in Contemporary Versions of Little Red Riding Hood” (2022) and have a fourth article forthcoming in 2024. My research interests include English language, culture, and literature, as well as visuality, fairy tales, and Kristevan theories.
