Den 6:e Vaasa Banking Research Workshop kommer att äga rum den 18 september 2025 i Vasa, Finland. Workshopen organiseras av Hanken Svenska handelshögskolan och Vasa universitet och kommer att äga rum på Hanken Svenska handelshögskolans campus i Vasa.
The 6th Vaasa Banking Research Workshop is organized by Hanken School of Economics and the University of Vaasa and will take place on September 18, 2025, at Hanken School of Economics campus in Vaasa (Auditorium 142).
The 6th Vaasa Banking Research Workshop is organized by Hanken School of Economics and the University of Vaasa and will take place on September 18, 2025, at Hanken School of Economics campus in Vaasa (Auditorium 142).
The Workshop is a one-day event that aims to bring together scholars to present and discuss topical research addressing different aspects of banking, financial intermediation, and financial stability. Areas of interest include but are not limited to the following topics:
- Financial intermediation and regulation
- Financial stability and economic growth
- Corporate governance of financial institutions
- Sustainability and social responsibility in the banking industry
- Risk management and measurement
- Politics and banking
- Financial innovation and recent banking sector developments
The keynote speaker is Professor Steven Ongena from the University of Zurich.
