There is one application round per year to the Hanken PhD Programme.

The next application period for studies beginning in September 2021:

  • Winter 2021: December- February 2021 (exact dates to be announced in autumn 2020)

The application is made electronically. A link to the application form will be available here when the application round is open.

Please read the instructions on the form carefully and remeber to upload all the mandatory enclosures.

General Information on the Application Rounds

The application form and the mandatory enclosures must be submitted electronically. Please submit the enclosures when you are filling the application form. Applicants who have not yet graduated before the application period starts can apply without a final degree certificate. For these applicants the deadline for supplementing the application with final degree certificate and final transcript of records will be July 31st 2019 in case they get admitted as students.

NB! Officially certified copies of your degree diplomas, transcripts of records and Diploma Supplement must be sent directly to Hanken by regular post/courir. The documents shall reach Hanken by 3 pm on the last day of the application round. You can also submit electronic copies of the documents, but please note that the documents must be posted in order to be processed. The certificate for exemption from the language test reqirement shall also be posted with the degree documents.
