Wallenberg Center for Financial Research

The purpose of the Wallenberg Center for Financial Research is to promote and conduct research and teaching within the area of Financial Economics, both in asset pricing and the function of financial markets, as well as in corporate finance. This goal can be achieved in a number of ways. It can be pursued by conducting research both individually as well as in research groups within areas such as Financial Economics, and by promoting and participating in the publication of scholarly research reports by arranging seminars and workshops
by arranging management training courses and other further education within the area of Financial Economics by promoting the international exchange of scholars as well as through the organisation of joint research and teaching activities with departments and institutions active in research and teaching in Financial Economics; and by conducting advanced commissioned work on the basis of short or long term research contracts.

Wallenberg Center for Financial Research has a board with one director, acting as the chairman, and five other board members.

The current board is comprised of: Professor Anders Löflund (chairman), Dr Kaj Hedvall, Professor Kenneth Högholm, Professor Johan Knif and Professor Timo Korkeamäki.
