The Hanken Venture Capital for Impact (VCI) Initiative brings together key researchers, entrepreneurs, investors, students and VC-industry to promote research, teaching and international collaboration with regards to entrepreneurship and venture capital.
Research Focus
A special research focus is placed on emergent trends within venture capital. This includes exploring the creation of unicorn firms (i.e. privately held companies exceeding the value of one billion dollars), investor ecosystems, incubators and family offices' investment strategies.
Key research foci include amongst other valuation, networks, ecosystems and impact. the entrepreneurial value creation of unicorns, i.e. privately held companies exceeding the value of one billion dollars.
