Reasons to donate

Hanken raises the standard of knowledge in the corporate world as well as in society by offering an international and competitive program range, which also forms the basis of Hanken’s legal responsibility of educating Swedish-speaking graduates.

As the financial situation is getting tougher for all Finnish universities, Hanken needs to stand on a solid financial ground to be able to maintain its unique position as Finland’s only independent business school.

Through increased finances Hanken will focus on the following areas:

A global education

Hanken aims to offer international top quality degree programmes, and we believe that study- and research related exchange programs and international recruitments support this ambition. This also supports our aspiration for our graduates to be responsible global citizens.

Successful research

The research at Hanken holds high international standard and has an affiliated PhD programme, which is something we are very proud of and intend to continue developing.

A stimulating environment

Hanken aims to offer an inspiring study- and work environment that is characterized by tolerance and openness. We also strive to modernize the study environment to be able to offer a competitive education and give our students the necessary skills in modern working techniques.

Corporate world relevance

To contribute to Finland’s growth and prosperity we want to combine the know-how within Hanken with the corporate world and Hanken’s network of alumni.
