Application step-by-step

This is a step-by-step guide to applying for Bachelor degree studies in English.

1. Submit your application

Submit your application in the Studyinfo.fi portal during the application period 3.1-17.1.2024, no later than 3 pm (Finnish time).

2. Upload attachments

You can upload your attachments (see required attachments) to the application until 24.1.2024 at 3 pm (Finnish time). If you are applying based on a SAT or ACT score please order the score report from the test organiser directly to Hanken School of Economics. 

Note! If your attachments are incomplete the admissions team will request that you supplement your application. Check your e-mail regularly. 

 

3. Wait for results

All the results will be published no later than 31 May 2024. Check your e-mail regularly. The notification of results will be sent to your e-mail. 

  • The first group of admitted applicants will receive notifications in April 2024 based only on SAT/ACT admission (Not IB/EB/RP/DIA/Finnish matriculation examination certificate holders)
  • The rest of the admission results will be released in the end of May 2024

 

4. Accept study offer

If you wish to accept your study offer please do so as soon as possible, however at the latest 11.7.2024 at 3 pm (Finnish time). You can accept your offer in the My Studyinfo.fi portal or through the personal acceptance link from Studyinfo. You can accept only one study place / academic year in Finland. 

Note! If you do not wish to accept your offer please decline the offer so we can offer the available seat to the next person in the waiting list. 

 

Note! If your offer is conditional 

Check the instructions received by e-mail. Generally there are a few reasons for conditional admission a) you must graduate from senior secondary school, b) you need to send officially certified documents or c) pay a tuition fee. Contact admissions@hanken.fi if you have questions. 

 

5. Register for the academic year

Once your admission is final, you must register for the academic year at the latest 31.7.2024. You must enroll as attending or non-attending and pay the Student Union fee. Registration for attendance can be done through the My Studyinfo-service portal/personal link once the admission offer is final. 

 

6. Welcome to study

Welcome days for new students will be arranged in the end of August.
