What to bring:

  • Required only of students who delivered PHYSICAL officially certified copies of their educational documents upon admission:
    • Degree certificate in ORIGINAL
    • Transcript of records in ORIGINAL
    • Possible official translations of the documents listed above if not in Swedish, Finnish or English
    • The documents will be collected for verification purposes and returned on Thursday
      • The students this applies to will receive an e-mail during August requesting them to bring their educational documents.
      • Note! Students whose educational documents already have been verified through an accepted Electronic Transcript verification Service are extempted from bringing their documents.
    • If you completed your school education in Swedish or Finnish in Finland and are unsure what requirements apply to you concering the requirement of language proficiency in Swedish and Finnish of Personnel in Public bodies within your degree, the study councellors can personally check your educational documents during registraton. If you wish to receive this service, please bring:
      • your complete higher education educational documents in digital form e.g pdf (NOT only as OmaOpintopolku link!) - degree certificate, transcript and Diploma Supplement (if available)

This session is relevant for students holding a non-EU citizenship, both for students liable for tuition fees or exempted based on a residence permit. We will e.g. address questions on liability for tuition fees, exemption from tuition fees, when to complete the tuition fee payments and how the tuition fee is connected to the annual registration as well as scholarships.

Library Workshops - highly recommended

The sessions offered by the Library are designed to help you excel in your studies at Hanken. Even though you have studied elsewhere, these sessions are recommended by the academic staff to help you learn the methods and the academic culture at Hanken.

The workshops are held through Teams and are open for everyone at Hanken.
