Information on the activities

Speed Interviews

A Speed Interview is a informal way to meet Hanken's students, and chat about your company and work on your employer branding. During a Speed Interview session (1 or 2 hours) you will be able to meet three to six students for 15 min each in a one-on-one meeting.
You can choose whether you would like to have one or two hours. We will inform you of the exact timing of the Speed Interview closer to the event.

CV/LinkedIn Check-Ins

Meet our students by participating in CV/LinkedIn Check-Ins during the day. Recruitment professionals in your organisation get to comment on students’ CVs, cover letters and LinkedIn profiles and help them develop them further. This is a great opportunity for you to enhance your employer brand and meet possible future colleagues!
The time slots are 15 minutes per student and each company will have 1 or 2 hours and thus meet 3-6 students. You can choose whether you would like to have one or two hours. We will inform you of the exact timing of the CV Check-Ins closer to the event.

Informational Interviews

An informational interview is an informal way to meet Hanken students, chat about your company and work on your employer branding. The student will have the chance to ask you questions, get to know the company culture and the career opportunities better, in order to find out if a future at your company aligns with their interests and career plans. This way you as a company can convey information to the students that isn’t easily obtained elsewhere! You can choose whether you would like to have one or two hours and thus meet 3-6 students, for 15 minutes each.

Tips for participating companies

  • differentiate: think about how you could make your company page out from other companies. Both visually and with your message.
  • your message: why is it important for the students to visit your company page on this particular day? What do they get that they cannot get anywhere else? Can they meet someone important at your company? Let them know!
  • communicate on social media: use your free Instagram stories post on Hanken's official Instagram account @hankenofficial. Use that platform to communicate why it is so important for the students to take the time and visit your stand! Also remember to use your own social media accounts and our hashtag #HND23
  • think long term: even if you only hire Master's students for your upcoming Trainee programme it is very important to build your company brand amongst the younger students too. It is going to be much easier to recruit them in a few years if they already know who you are!

Informational interviews
An informational interview is an informal way to meet the participating companies and chat one on one with them. Informational interviews are used a lot in job seeking, especially internationally, and we warmly recommend that Hanken students do this too. Now you will have an easy way of trying this at Hanken Network Day! You can book a 15-minute session with a company, during which you can ask questions and get to know the company culture and the career opportunities better, in order to find out if a future at the company aligns with your interests and career plans.

This way you can find out information about the company that isn’t easily obtained elsewhere! This is also a great way to broaden your professional network. Outside of Hanken Network Day you can conduct informational interviews by e.g. contacting Hanken Alumni or someone else who works with something you are interested in via LinkedIn. Often people are very happy and willing to help and answer your questions!

These sessions were opened for booking on 4 September at 09.00 a.m. and will be one on one with the company representative for 15 minutes. Please note that it is allowed to book only one Information interview session of 15 minutes per student.

Participating companies in the Informational interviews:

Speed Interviews
A Speed Interview is a little bit like an informational interview, but it is intended for when the company has a specific role that they are interested in recruiting a student for. This could be a trainee position, summer job or a permanent position. This is your chance to make an impression and ask about these positions too!

These sessions were opened for booking on 4 September at 09.00 a.m. and will be one on one with the company representative for 15 minutes. Please note that it is allowed to book only one Speed interview session of 15 minutes per student.

The time slots are 15 minutes per student, and were opened for booking on 4 September at 09.00 a.m.. Please note that it is allowed to book only one CV/LinkedIn session of 15 minutes per student.
