Information on Summer School possibilities at Hanken's partner universities

Prolong the semester by going to a Summer School at a Hanken Partner University!

Several of Hanken’s Partner Universities around the world arrange different kinds of summer schools. A summer school is normally 1-4 weeks long and often it consists of several different courses. You can get your completed courses transferred to Hanken. The course offer at a summer school comprise different academic areas. You can widen your perspective by choosing courses in cultural or societal subjects in addition to courses in business. By taken part in a summer school you can broaden your degree by choosing courses that are not offered at Hanken.

The courses are often offered in English with the possibility to also complete language courses in the language of the host country. Why not learn some German/Portuguese or Spanish while taking part in a summer school?

Business and Innovation in China - Summer course in Gothenburg, 4 - 12 July 2022

Hanken’s master level students have the opportunity to apply for the summer course “Business and Innovation in China” organized by the Nordic Centre at Fudan University, one of China's top academic institutions. The course is held in Gothenburg. The course is estimated to equal 5 ECTS.

Summer and WinterSchools in other countries

Many other Hanken Partner Universities also arrange high quality Summer Schools, but unfortunately there are no Hanken funds awarding grants for others than German, Portugues and Spanish speaking countries.

Transferring credits from a Summer or Winter School

Courses taken at a Summer School can be transferred to Hanken. The easiest way to transfer the credits is to make them part of your elective studies in addition to minor and majors. After completing the Summer School you give your transcript of completed courses to the mobility team at Hanken. The team validates the courses and forwards the transcript to the Office of Study Affairs who in turn transfer the credits. If you have any questions, please contact
