Hanken students can include an internship in their degree
A semester abroad is included in all Hanken Bachelor's students degrees as an obligatory part of their studies. This can be done either as an internship abroad or studies abroad. Students can receive a grant for either of these options, as well as receive study credits (8 ECTS for the internship and 30 ECTS for the studies abroad).
On the Master's level, students can include a voluntary internship period in their degree. This internship can take place either in Finland or abroad. Depending on the length of the internship, students can receive either 5 or 10 ECTS for their internship.
Hanken's Career Services supports the students internship periods with an internship grant if the internship takes place abroad and is during the summer months May-August. Foreign degree students can apply for an internship grant also for an internship that takes place in Finland.
