Timetable for the Academic year

Important dates during the academic year, teaching periods and exam week dates, for the ongoing and next academic year.

The Academic year always begins on August 1 and ends on July 31. The terms are divided into two teaching periods each, periods 1 and 2 during the Autumn semester and periods 3 and 4 during the Spring semester. Each teaching period consists of seven weeks of teaching, followed by one week for exams. Period 4 is one week longer than the other periods due to the Easter vacation. In addition to this, there are two Summer terms before and after the regular teaching periods: one in August and one in May-July.
