World Humanitarian Forum 2021

The HUMLOG Institute Deputy Director Dr. Diego Vega hosted two discussions at the WHF 2021: "Promoting green supply chain management: adopting sustainable policies" and "Analysing localisation: trends, challenges and solutions to implementation"

World Humanitarian Forum (WHF) is the largest and most inclusive nonpartisan forum in humanitarian aid and international development. WHF brings together decision-makers and opinion-formers in the public, private and non-profit sectors, as well as the next generation of partnership-builders. Through its annual WHF in London, WHF advances critical global discussions and transforms conversations into action, as well as provides a powerful forum to catalyse collaboration through shared-value approaches and social impact objectives.

Especially in times of crises, we should always remember one fact: “WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER”. At WHF we have aimed to bring forward discussions regarding the great reset, seeking to understand how we can build back stronger following the COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic has also highlighted our need for international cooperation, and that global challenges cannot be addressed in silos. We must cooperate and find common solutions to the issues we face at an international scale.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this edition of the World Humanitarian Forum is predominantly digital. (Source: https://www.whf.london/whf-london-2021)
