The WREC Project seeks to reduce the adverse environmental consequences of humanitarian logistics through awareness, practical guidance, and real-time environmental expertise. The project is coordinated by the Global Logistics Cluster and supported by a coalition of humanitarian organizations.

Responsible Organising is a research collaboration between three institutes: CCR, GODESS, and HUMLOG. Its researchers focus on a variety of subjects including Commercial Law, Management and Organisation, Management and Politics, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, and Social Responsibility. The research within RO is organized into three clusters that work together in a synergistic and interrelated manner.

Hanken operates at two locations in Finland: in the capital Helsinki, which offers an exciting combination of high-tech, design and nature, and in Vaasa, which represents a centre of the entrepreneurial atmosphere and the energy cluster of the region.

Located by the coast, Vaasa as a city combines beautiful nature with urban city life and is known as 'the sunny city' of Finland. The income level in Vaasa is almost as high as in the capital region but cost of living is much lower, which means there is plenty of money left to spend on living and you can live very comfortable either in an apartment in the city centre or in deatached houses a bit outside of the city. Vaasa is a true student city, making it a lively, international and vibrant place to live in.
