South Florida professor James Stock visiting scholar at Hanken

Professor James Stock holds a Fulbright Distinguished Chair at Hanken during the fall of 2016 and 2017.

Professor Stock has conducted vast research within the fields of logistics and is at present serving as Marketing Professor at the University of South Florida in Tampa. His research project at Hanken covers best practices in supply chain sustainability in Finland.My primary intent during my two visits to Hanken are to initiate and complete the Fulbright research project on Supply Chain Sustainability Practices of Finnish Companies. I will also be teaching a PhD seminar in Reverse Logistics and Supply Chain Sustainability during this first visit, says Stock.

 The agreement between Hanken and the Fulbright Center provides prominent American scholars the opportunity to spend a period at Hanken. During their visit, the scholar will lecture or conduct research and contribute in disseminating Hanken’s research and knowledge within the business community and society. During the years 2016 and 2017, five Fulbright-Hanken Distinguished Chairs will visit Hanken.

Fulbright Center is a service organisation that specialises in academic exchange between Finland and North America. The main goal is to support the internationalisation of Finnish universities and research.
