Food Innovation

Food Innovation
Food Innovation is one of CERS 'research and development areas. CERS’ focus is on customer-oriented operating models and service strategies in cooperation with the food industry. One of the Food Innovation projects is the Lyftkraft project.

Project Lyftkrafts purpose is to create a consumer-oriented trade network in the Ostrobothnian greenhouse cluster by improving cooperation between greenhouse growers, packaging houses, advisors, logistics, and consumers, as well as deepening the understanding of demand-driven and customer-oriented production.

By becoming aware of food trends and deepening the understanding of consumer attitudes towards domestic production and food consumption, the goal of the Lyftkraft project is to create new ideas and operating models for the entire value chain, from the greenhouse to the plate. In the process involving greenhouse growers, trade representatives, packaging houses and researchers.
