Ruby Lee Fulbright scholar at Hanken

Professor Ruby Lee from Florida State University, Tallahassee is visiting Hanken as a Fulbright scholar for a seven-month period until the end of June.

Professor Lee’s areas of teaching and research include marketing strategy, product innovation, inter-firm relationships, multinational business knowledge management, and international marketing. Her work at Hanken focuses on product innovation, and how Nordic firms could benefit from partnering with firms from emerging economies to enhance their innovation and market performance.

During her stay at Hanken she wishes to move her research to another level as well as developing friendships and projects with the colleagues here.

“I can't thank enough the people at Hanken enough for their open arms to me. Finland is cold but Finns are warm”, says Ruby Lee. “I hope to develop a better understanding of this country, and bring my experience back home to share with my students, colleagues, and friends”, she adds.

Professor Ruby Lee will hold a seminar open to the public on 6 April 2017.
