Services for companies

Through collaboration with CERS, companies can gain access to the latest research and tools on relationship marketing and service management. CERS in turn benefits by gaining knowledge of current business issues affecting companies.

Types of collaboration

CERS collaborates with industry and business partners in various research and customized projects. Business partners can also be involved in teaching and research as guest lecturers, sparring partners, research collaborators, funding partners, case companies in Ph.D. student projects, etc.

We are happy to discuss co-operation opportunities further. For more information, please contact:

How would you design services for a pizza restaurant?

Actually it is not pizza at all - Restaurant Niska serves original plåtbröd with different fillings on top.

Our students on the course "Service development project" invented a variety of ideas - from pizza-karaoke to marketing to Niska passports - to help restaurant Niska develop their service concept even better.

The course was instructed by Helena Liewendahl and Phuong Dao. CEO of Niska Thomas Strandvik was listening to students' presentations, and Professor Magnus Söderlund lecturing about service encounters.

Grow your service innovation capacity with LEGO Serious Play

ERS workshops and trainings are tailor-made to your wishes. With your input we can create a session that best suits your needs in terms of content, structure, number of participants and timing.

Develop your personal creative problem solving skills, learn how to innovate new services effectively and try out tools to encourage creative thinking and effective communication and use the potential of the whole team.

Hanken applies novel co-creation methods and materials, e.g. LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® that has also been used at Harvard Business School, Stanford and Fortune 100 companies

"Serious play creates the conditions to be more imaginative and playful about serious matters in ways conventional strategy discussions do not, and in the process be more perceptive and effective in developing robust strategies. Powerpoint slides can only capture and express a limited part of what we mean, purely verbal discussion of strategic issues has its limitations as well. When constructing with hands what we think and perceive in three dimensions, in real-time,  we discover different aspects of strategic problems and stimulate new solutions.”
