- Vaasa represents the centre of the entrepreneurial atmosphere and the energy cluster of the region and home to e.g. the UNESCO Natural world heritage site Kvarken Archipelago. Located by the coast, Vaasa as a city combines beautiful nature with urban city life and is known as 'the sunny city' of Finland. The income level in Vaasa is almost as high as in the capital region but cost of living is much lower, which means there is plenty of money left to spend on living and you can live very comfortable either in an apartment in the city centre or in deatached houses a bit outside of the city.
