Two teams from Hanken participated in the Nordic Final, which took place 11.5.2020.

The annual marketing competition for university students, L'Oréal Brandstorm, has taken place this spring - and as in previous years, is included as a part of the marketing course Branding Project, with lecturer Åke Finne as course instructor and coach for the competing teams. This year's challenge was to create an innovation to decrease the use of plastic in product packaging for one of the L’Oréal brands.

The best teams from the Nordic business schools were chosen to participate in the final. Two teams from Hanken qualified from the first phase of the competition for the Nordic Final with only six spots in total. The two Hanken teams were “Concrete Jungle”, with Andrea Segercrantz, Emma Svartsjö and Sonja Lindström, and “ReNewMe” with Alexandra Berner, Elin Qvist and Jesper Baijars. Unfortunately, their journey ended here and the winning team from BI Norwegian Business School qualified for the international final.

The Nordic Final is usually arranged in Copenhagen and the International Final in Paris, but due to the current situation the finals are arranged online through Teams.
