Hanken member of QTEM network

Hanken and HEC Montreal have been voted new members of the esteemed QTEM network. QTEM aims at developing skills in analytical and quantitative techniques for outstanding students from the selected academic partner institutions.

As of autumn 2015, Hanken is a member of the esteemed QTEM network, which was launched in 2012. QTEM stands for Quantitative Techniques for Economics and Management and is an international network that brings together outstanding students, academic partners and international corporations.

The focus of QTEM is to develop skills in analytical and quantitative techniques and to offer master-level studies open to outstanding students from the member universities.

Hanken and BI Norwegian Business School are the only Nordic partners in the network, which currently has 13 academic partners in Americas, Asia, Australia, and Europe. The aim is to expand to some 30 partners, representing all continents equally. QTEM also aims at involving more than 100 corporate partners over the coming years.

All QTEM Academic Partners are EQUIS or AACSB accredited universities and/or hold an excellent position in rankings such as the Financial Times. QTEM also values the quality and the extent of courses offered in English as well as the quantitative excellence of the academic partner. An addition criterion is the availability of both economics and management subjects.
