The Board of Hanken uses two parallel processes in the recruitment of a new rector. The recruitment started on 10 March 2022. Applicants have been able to submit their own application, and then an external consultant also works with direct recruitment. Both channels have gathered interested applicants who meet the formal requirements.

The Book Cave in the library in Helsinki will close on 11. April and is planned to be opened again on 15. August 2022. The course book collection is not affected by the reorganization, these books can be borrowed as usual.

Hanken student Alexander Silén (b. 1994) has been awarded this year´s Anders Wall scholarship of SEK 200,000. Silén receives the scholarship because he has excelled in entrepreneurship and creative thinking.

At its meeting on 28 February 2022, the board of Hanken decided on the process for electing a new rector. This time, there will be an open application process in combination with the possibility of direct recruitment. The recruitment process will be launched during the second week of March.
