Hanken Network Day is a forum for networking where Hanken students and company representatives meet during one day. Hanken Network Day is arranged annually in collaboration with The Student Union of Hanken School of Economics (SHS) at Hanken in Helsinki. In 2020 the event will be organised for the tenth time and this time it will be an online event using the Jobteaser portal.

This is a unique chance for the students to learn more about different career paths and make valuable contacts with interesting companies. For the companies it is a more than excellent chance to make a good impression on possible future colleagues.

Meet&Greets: Career days are one of the most efficient ways for campus recruiter to get face time with our talent pool. A virtual Meet&Greet mimics the traditional face to face meeting at a stand. - one post in Instagram Stories
- participation in Meet&Greets,CV/LinkedIn Check-Ins, a company presentation and the open company chat

Tips for participating companies

  • differentiate: think about how you could make your company page out from other companies. Both visually and with your message.
  • your message: why is it important for the students to visit your company page on this particular day? What do they get that they cannot get anywhere else? Can they meet someone important at your company? Let them know!
  • communicate on social media: use your free Instagram stories post on Hanken's official Instagram account @hankenofficial. Use that platform to communicate why it is so important for the students to take the time and visit your stand! Also remember to use your own social media accounts and our hashtag #HND20
  • think long term: even if you only hire Master's students for your upcoming Trainee programme it is very important to build your company brand amongst the younger students too. It is going to be much easier to recruit them in a few years if they already know who you are!
