Hanken Professor Liisa Välikangas to Tekes’ Board

Liisa Välikangas, professor in management and organisation at both Hanken (50 per cent) and Aalto University (50 per cent), has been re-appointed to the Board of Tekes Opens in new window . The Board is appointed by the Finnish Government and begins its three-year mandate period on 1 July 2014.

Kai Öistämö, Executive Vice President, Chief Development Officer at Nokia Abp will continue as Chariman of the Board and Taina Susiluoto, Director General at the Ministry of employment and the economy, as Vice Chairman. The other members of the Board are Heidi Fagerholm, CTO Chief Technology Officer at Kemira Plc, Eero Pekkola, CEO at Oilon Oy, Timo Ahopelto, Partner at Lifeline Ventures Oy, and Aki Kangasharju, Research Director at Nordea Finland.

The Board decides on Tekes' general policies and broad-reaching and significant issues. The Board decides on R&D project funding if funding by Tekes exceeds 3 million euros.
