Standupkomikern Karim Aldulaimi utgår från livet mellan två kulturer för att genom humor göra skarpa iakttagelser ur ett utifrånperspektiv. En panel bestående av aktivister och forskare tar sig an frågan om vilken roll akademin spelar i att upprätthålla kolonialism och västerländsk kunskapshegemoni, från grindvaktande strukturer till nordiskt förnekande av rasism och ras. Tillsammans frågar vi oss: Vad måste universiteten göra för att bemöta och motverka rasism?

Evenemanget fungerar också som en träff för studerande inom CR-modulen och diplomprogrammet.

Stand-up comedian Karim Aldulaimi draws on life between two cultures to make sharp outsider observations through humour. A panel of activists and researchers confronts the role academia plays in sustaining colonialism and Western knowledge hegemony - from gatekeeping to Nordic denial on race. Together, we ask what must universities do to confront racism?
The event also serves as a get-together for CR Module and Diploma Programme students.
