The Trees For Development Project (TreesForDev) and the Restoring Ecosystems in Madagascar and Mozambique (REMM) Project are excited to co-produce a hybrid spring symposium on June 3-4.2026.
The TreesForDev project is a consortium project investigating the socio-ecological and politico-economic dynamics of ecological restoration through tree planting schemes in the global South, led by PI Maria Ehrnström-Fuentes at Hanken. The events of the Symposium will take place on 3-4.6.2026 at Hanken School of Economics in Helsinki and online on Zoom. There is no cost to participants, but advance registration is required using this form.
- Our 2-day event will feature keynote presentations, project presentations, and a panel session in collaboration with Siemenpuu Foundation. Check out the daily schedule
