HEI LIFE - Supporting the Integration of International Academics and Staff

HEI LIFE is a national project to support the integration of international academics, staff and their families in Finland. HEI LIFE stands for Higher Education Institutions’ Support for International Academics and Staff – Living, Integration, Family and Employment in Finland. On this page you can find information about the project, what we do and how you can participate.

The project focuses on building national models for Finnish higher education institutions to support the integration of international academics, staff and their families.

The project is managed by the University of Helsinki. The activities are divided between the higher education institutions in the capital, Tampere and Turku regions. Each region is in charge of a subproject, focusing on different aspects of integration. Here you can find more information about the project Opens in new window .

The Spouse Network aims to bring together spouses in the capital area by offering information sessions, workshops and events, as well as peer support and networking opportunities.
