Helsinki is the capital of Finland and the largest city in the country. Located in the south of Finland on the coast of the Gulf of Finland, Helsinki together with the metropolitan area have a population of approx. 1.4 million. Helsinki is a beautiful seaside city with an archipelago consisting of more than 300 islands. The city is big enough to offer a vibrant and lively urban lifestyle, yet small enough to be safe, charming and the beautiful Finnish nature is just a stone's throw away.
