KvarkenSat is a joint small satellite between the Ostrobothnian provinces and Västerbotten. Quantum is a versatile meeting place that offers access to company and financial databases and allows for the handling of big data. Political discussions about whether to merge Hanken in Vaasa with Åbo Akademi University or with the University of Vaasa have been ongoing ever since Hanken in Vaasa was established in 1980.
