Information about Helsinki

Helsingfors

Helsinki, the capital of Finland, sits on the edge of the Baltic Sea, where modern design meets a rich sense of history. In summer, the city comes alive with long, light-filled days and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. You’ll find sleek architecture alongside charming old buildings, and plenty of islands and waterfront spots to explore or unwind by the water. Cafés spill onto sunny terraces, and the city’s museums, galleries, and outdoor events showcase its creative spirit. Warm and walkable, Helsinki is the perfect place to enjoy both culture and nature after and before the conference. Helsinki embodies sisu—a quiet determination and unshakable spirit that shines through its people, culture, and everyday life.

We will update this page until the conference with useful links regarding your stay in the city. For now, please visit VisitFinland and MyHelsinki for a comprehensive overview of what awaits you.
