Getting to the Vasa campus

The central location of the Vaasa campus in the city center means you can get here responsibly by bike, bus, or train.

By bike

In Vaasa, the cycle path network stretches from the city centre towards Palosaari, Isolahti, Suvilahti, and beyond. We have bike racks in the inner courtyard. You can also borrow a Hanken bike at reception for your meetings and errands during working hours. 

By bus

The joint regional public transport service of the City of Vaasa and the Municipality of Mustasaari, Lifti, will take you to Hanken at Kirjastonkatu 16. The nearest stop is called “Kauppapuistikko / Kirjastonkatu” and buses 8 and 12 will take you there. Buses 3, 4V, 7, and 11 also have stops nearby. Long-distance buses to Vaasa have their final stop at the Travel Center, which is about a nine-minute walk or two-minute bike ride from the Vaasa campus. Long-distance bus routes can be checked on the Matkahuolto Reittiopas.

By train

Vaasa Travel Centre is about is about a nine-minute walk or two-minute bike ride from the Vaasa campus. Thus, it is easy to reach us also by long-distance trains. You can check the VR for train schedules.

By car

There is parking available opposite Hanken, across the street. You can also park in the Ekgården parking garage or in Citymarket’s basement, both located one block from Hanken. However, our campus is very centrally located, so we recommend using public transportation if possible.
