MOT Kielipalvelu® – use the language tools anywhere, anytime

MOT Kielipalvelu® includes the language tools you know from MOT – but completely modernized and with a lot of new content. You will be able to use the service easily on all of your devices, also outside of the university network.

You will get access to all of the following: the high-quality dictionary collection MOT Sanakirjat®, dictionaries from top publishers such as Oxford University Press and NE, the newest version of Kielitoimiston sanakirja (Dictionary of Contemporary Finnish), Nykysuomen etymologinen sanakirja (Etymological Dictionary of Contemporary Finnish), MOT Place names, MOT Kääntäjä® (machine translation) and MOT Kielentarkistin® (proofreader).

Follow these steps:

1. Navigate to www.sanakirja.fi/korkeakouluille . 

2. Choose ”Svenska handelshögskolan” from the drop-down menu, enter your Hanken email address and click Get a login link.

3. You will receive a confirmation email. Click on the Get MOT Kielipalvelu® link.

4. Finalize your account by setting a password. With a password, you can easily log in to the service later on at www.sanakirja.fi . If you have already ordered a login link before and can’t remember the password you have set, log out and click Forgot your password? 

When you are connected to the organization’s network, MOT Kielipalvelu® is ready to use without a separate registration or login at www.sanakirja.fi .
