Hanken is part of CR3+ network with three other business schools around the world. Get to know more about the network and its activities!

Hanken School of Economics has been collaborating with Audencia Opens in new window Business School (France), Instituto superior de administração e economia/ISAE (Brazil), and  La trobe Business School (Australia) since 2008 in an effort to exchange ideas, pedagogy, curriculum and research in the area of corporate responsibility and sustainability. This collaboration was later formalised into a network called CR3+. Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) is the common ground between the four schools and has since been at the core of this partnership.

A key outcome of the partnership between the 4 schools has been an annual CR3+ academic conference, which is hosted by member schools on a rolling basis. The aim of the CR3+ conference is to strengthen the partnership and dialogue around sustainability and responsibility, and provide a forum where ideas, developments and concerns in regards to these issues and responsible management education can be brought forward.

The conference is into its 8th iteration and will be hosted by ISAE in November 2020. The theme for this year's conference is ''Innovation Shaping a Sustainable Future''. More information can be found on the conference's webpages.

The four schools have collaboratively created video based learning material on each of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The project has also been carried out as part of all the schools' involvement with PRME Champions for 2018-19 cycle.

The overall objective of the project is to create combined digital learning material on the SDGs making full use of the individual expertise of the participating schools. During the past year, the four schools have individually created videos on 4 SDGs using existing resources and capacity (in total covering 16 SDGs) and together a video on SDG 17. Each video lasts from 5 minutes to maximum 15 minutes. The videos cover both the international perspective but also offer some local insights and examples.

The videos can be found on network's youtube channel. All the videos have been created under Creative Commons Opens in new window  license CC-BY-SA-NC 4.0, thus can be shared freely and can be built upon as well for non-commerical purposes and by providing appreciate credit.

All 17 videos created as part of the project mentioned above formed a groundwork for a Massive open online course (MOOC) titled ‘Organising for the Sustainable Development Goals'. The course is offered on social learning platform FurtureLearn, with more 8 million users  from around the world. The MOOC is managed, administered and funded by Hanken with the endorsement of other member schools of CR3+ network.
