Liisa Husu

Liisa Husu is a sociologist and gender expert with a strong international profile. She has a Ph.D. in Sociology (University of Helsinki, 2001). She is affiliated researcher at the Department of Management and Organization, and the Hanken GODESS Institute. She is Senior Professor of Sociology at the Division of Gender Studies and Sociology, Örebro University, Sweden, Docent in Women's Studies at Tampere University, advisor for the Chalmers University of Technology 10-year Gender Equality Initiative GENIE and member of the Advisory Committee of ISCSP, Centro Interdisciplinar de Estudos de Género, University of Lisbon, Portugal.

Husu's research and publications focus on gender dynamics in academic careers and academic and scientific organisations, gender equality policy and research policy.
