TimePlaceOnline
- EventSo-called green transitions to “renewable energy”, such as wind energy, across the world create new socioecological problems, intensifying climate change and broader environmental change. Can we build renewable energy futures that work for the well-being of all and not for growth capitalism? How? This talk will focus on how we can think about radical alternatives on renewable energy transitions from a postcapitalist and a posthuman lens. It will focus on "community renewable energy ecologies", covering some relevant struggles and initiatives and strategies for renewable energy development that could nourish broader transformative change.TimePlaceOnline
