Funding your internship
Hanken offers three different funding opportunities to support internships in Finland and abroad. The one you may be eligible for depends on where you plan to complete your internship, whether you are a national or international student*, and whether you have already completed the mandatory semester abroad (or internship in Finland) of your degree programme.
*You can be considered an international student if you have completed your previous school education outside of Finland or in another language than Finnish/Swedish.

Hanken grants for Bachelor's students

I am a national or international* student and want to complete the mandatory semester abroad in my degree through an internship abroad:

I am a national or international* student and have already completed the mandatory component of my Bachelor's degree through either an exchange period or an internship abroad or in Finland. I would like to complete the voluntary Hanken Advanced Language internship in a German-, Spanish-, or French-speaking country, conducted in one of these languages (as part of one of the courses Internship Abroad in German/Spanish/French I/II).:

Hanken grants for Master's students

External grants
Studiefonden - Grants support for full time university studies. The applicant shall be a Finnish citizen or permanently residing in Finland and have Swedish as their mother tongue or study language.The Studiefonden website is available in Swedish.
Ekonomföreningen Niord - Niord gives out grants to its junior members for the obligatory semester abroad (either exchange or internship) both in the spring and the autumn. Niord informs about the grants in their Niordbladet magazine, on the Niord website. Hanken's student union also informs about this on their website. The Niord website is available in Swedish.
Fyrk.fi - A website that helps you find different grants and scholarships. The website is available in Swedish.
