Place
Helsinki
Room
Auditorium Futurum
HCCG's guest lecture series for Spring 2017 kick-starts with a lecture by Phd Klaus Ilmonen, Partner at Hannes Snellman Attorneys Ltd.

In a bankruptcy creditors are given priority over equity holders. But before the bankruptcy, conflicts of interest and problematic incentive situations arise as different constituencies renegotiate terms of financing. New EU and national regulation is being introduced for pre-insolvency situations that can affect the negotiating balance between creditors and shareholders. This raises interesting corporate governance questions.

The guest lecture is followed by an informal "Spring Start" -party in the Teachers' Lounge, 5th floor. We will be joined by Mr. Henrik Keinonen, who will tell us about his work for the city of Helsinki in creating support for Start-up companies. All participants and others are more than welcome to join!
