Nordic Humanitarian-Business Collaboration for Preventive Emergency Logistics (NORD-PRELOG)

The NORD-PRELOG project aims to strengthen preventive emergency logistics and preparedness through collaboration between humanitarian organizations, business service providers, and volunteer networks in Finland and Sweden. Responding to growing risks from climate-related disasters, pandemics, and geopolitical instability, the project focuses on developing knowledge and practical solutions that enhance preparedness before crises escalate.

Date: 1.11.2026 – 31.10.2028

Objective: The project aims to develop a Nordic framework for humanitarian-business collaboration in preventive emergency logistics. It will identify barriers to effective collaboration, examine the dynamic capabilities needed for prevention and preparedness, and explore how digital tools can support more preventive emergency logistics systems. The project will generate evidence-based recommendations to strengthen preparedness, cross-sector collaboration, and societal resilience across the Nordic region.
