Under detta Hanken Insights evenemang kommer vi att diskutera det aktuella läget på den nordiska arbetsmarknaden och hur den formas av teknologiska och strukturella förändringar. Vi behandlar även handelshögskolans roll i att säkerställa att nyutexaminerade ekonomer har de rätta verktygen för att möta arbetsmarknadens behov. Talare inkluderar Juhana Vartiainen (arbetslivsprofessor, Hanken), Sofia Bougt-Hernnäs (biträdande professor i nationalekonomi, Hanken) och Lari Hintsanen (VD för Deloitte Finland). Juhana Vartiainen

Juhana Vartiainen 

Juhana Vartiainen is a former mayor of Helsinki and previous director general of the VATT Institute for Economic Research and member of parliament from 2015 to 2021. Vartiainen has also served as director of research at the National Institute of Economic Research (Konjunkturinstitutet) in Sweden. He holds a doctorate in economics and has an extensive research background, including at the Labour Institute for Economic Research and the University of Helsinki. 


Sofia Bougt Hernnäs

Sofia Bougt-Hernnäs

Sofia Bougt-Hernnäs is an Assistant Professor of Economics whose research examines how technological change reshapes occupations and workers' employment prospects, earnings, and health. She is also affiliated with Helsinki Graduate School of Economics and Stockholm School of Economics.


Lari Hintsanen

Lari Hintsanen

Lari Hintsanen is the Country Managing Partner of Deloitte Finland. Deloitte's report ¨From the experience gap to a leap in learning¨ examines why many countries and organizations—Finland serving as a key example—face a widening experience gap between the current education system and the needs of the changing labour market.

 Mika Gabrielsson

As Dean of Education, Mika Gabrielsson leads the development of the Bachelor's and Master's programmes. Mika Gabrielsson is Chair of the Education Council and the Board of Directors of the Centre for Languages and Business Communication. Mika Gabrielsson is Professor in Marketing with focus on the internationalisation of companies and their marketing strategies.


Lotta Vuoristo

 Lotta Vuoristo

Lotta Vuoristo is Chief People Officer at RELEX Solutions. Prior to joining RELEX in January 2026, Lotta was the Chief People Officer of Rovio Entertainment, and she has also held various transformational positions across other global companies. Lotta holds a doctorate degree from Hanken from 2017, and a master’s degree from Hanken from 2007. Lotta is a member of Hanken’s External Stakeholder Advisory Board.


Philip McCoy

Philip McCoy

Philip McCoy is a current second year master’s student at Hanken studying International Strategy and Sustainability. Prior to his masters studies he was an exchange student at Hanken in 2022/23. He will now be the President of the Masters’ Committee for 2026/27 engaged in integrating the incoming masters’ students into Hanken’s way of life.
