Corporate ownership in Finland: Where are we and where should we go?

Hanken professor Timo Korkeamäki recently published a study ordered by the Prime Minister's Office on ownership of Finnish firms, together with Ulf Jakobsson. In this year's Hanken Finance Day, we will discuss past and current patterns of corporate ownership in Finland, with an emphasis on the governance problems that are related to trends in the corporate ownership structure. 

Professor Korkeamäki will be joined in the discussion by Anne Berner, a former Chairman of the Finnish Family Firms Association and a long-term advocate of active ownership in Finnish firms, and by Risto Murto, CEO of Varma - the largest institutional investor in Finland.
