Hanken Centre for Corporate Governance welcomes you to a guest lecture about "Better public sector incentives - the key to Finland's recovery?"

held by Elina Lepomäki, Member of Parliament.

Government expenditures must be reduced as Finland is facing hard economic times. In 2013 government expenditures accounted for around

58 per cent of GDP in Finland, whereas the average of OECD countries was roughly 42 per cent (Source: OECD National Accounts).

A smaller and more efficient public sector is an essential factor in order to have growth. But how to incentivize the government agencies to perform better? Elina Lepomäki will discuss this question among others regarding how to improve Finland’s public sector on her guest lecture on September 2nd.

The guest lecture is open for all interested. Welcome!

Date and time: September 2, 17.30-19.00

Venue: Futurum, Hanken School of Economics

Organiser: Hanken Centre for Corporate Governance
