Arafat Rahman is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Department of Marketing. His research interests are in transformative service research, customer-brand relationships, artificial intelligence and emerging technologies in marketing, and individual- and firm-level factors in internationalization of firms. Arafat’s research has been published in journals such as the Journal of Business Research, Industrial Marketing Management, International Business Review, Journal of Service Theory and Practice, Services Marketing Quarterly, and Cogent Business & Management.
Prior to joining Hanken School of Economics, Arafat earned a DSc in Economics and Business Administration from Hanken. Previously, he received his MSc in International Marketing Management from the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom as a recipient of a Commonwealth Scholarship, and his bachelor's and master's degrees in Business Administration from Jahangirnagar University in Bangladesh.
