The core of my research focuses on how to lead and design thriving collaborations for an empowered workforce, particularly in the context of hybrid and virtual work, as well as globally distributed teams who collaborate over technology, spatial, and cultural boundaries. In addition, I study the functioning of self-managed organizations, from leadership and identity perspectives. In sum, I am eagerly exploring what the future of work has in store for organizing, teamwork, and leadership, in particular.
I have a multi-disciplinary background in technology and user-centered design (M.Sc. from Aalto University) and a doctoral degree in organisation, leadership and work psychology (PhD from Aalto University).
My passion is in mixing science with practice - by giving scientific findings meaning and value for companies and society.
