Starting this fall, 12.5 million copies of a preparedness leaflet will be distributed to households in Poland. Parts of the content is built on research conducted at Hanken’s HUMLOG Institute, with Associate Professor Wojciech Piotrowicz contributing as one of the co-authors and editor. The initiative is led by the Polish Ministry of Defence.

A new initiative that is set to transform the landscape of sustainable solutions for the humanitarian and health sectors worldwide has been launched. The unique platform will help humanitarian and health actors’ access and utilize bio-based products in critical response operations and health programs globally.

The Hanken building in Helsinki was created by a dream team, says Päivi Helander, an Olof Ottelin researcher and one of the guides when Hanken participated in Helsinki Design Week.

Helsinki Design Week is the largest design and architecture festival in the Nordic countries and takes place 8-17.9.2023. The programme offers over 100 events and for the first time Hanken's main building is also part of the festival.
