A new EU-directive requires that all end-of-life textiles, meaning clothes that can’t be used any more, are being collected separately, sorted and then reused or recycled. Professor Lisa Ellram’s interest in the future of the planet grew early on, leading up to her studying and publishing research on environmental sustainability for over two decades now. As a Fulbright Distinguished Professor at Hanken School of Economics, she has been focusing on the role of supply chain in the circular economy.
